We are currently seeking an EHS Leadership and Training Manager to join our team at our World Headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.
This position will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs, resources and expertise in the diverse functions of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS). This position will be an EHS Leadership Training Professional who will not only support our EHS Team but assist them to be subject matter experts, effective trainers and build systems to track the effectiveness of the training.
Create and manage training programs designed to develop and enhance our EHS Team
Implement a system that provides personal and program development to leaders as well as operations personnel
Develop and deliver effective “on boarding training” for all EHS professionals, current employees as well as new hires
Help identify regulatory and O-I compliance issues, support and develop training to implement resolution
Introduce new techniques and technologies to enhance, sustain, and grow the technical training development
Develop a tracking system to identify impact of the training effectiveness and areas to improve
Ensure that plants have the proper tools, guidance and support to administer EHS Training
Influence and guide EHS Manager and Plant Manager at all manufacturing facilities
Coach and mentor plant leadership in identifying training needs and work together to correct and sustain an effective training system
SCOPE AND IMPACT
The position will be responsible for leadership development and training for all Environmental, Health and Safety functions for the Americas North Region. The Leadership and Training Manager drives professional development and compliance critical education to sustainable an effective EHS culture and performance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree, Training and Development – Advanced Degree Preferred
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in professional leadership and development training
Certified Safety Professional – Preferred
This position reports functionally to the America’s Talent and Culture Lead and to the business group, Director of EHS, Americas North. There are no direct reports to this position.
Minimum 50% travel required for this position.
