We are currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our global team. We are open on location - remote candidates will be considered.

This position is accountable to procure goods and services for the Corporate functions within company corporate policies and procedures at the best possible terms for price, quality, service, and delivery. This includes negotiating contracts, delivering savings targets, developing new suppliers, building and maintaining internal and external relationships, and leading global teams.
Manage multi-million in Corporate spend
Support and implement commodity strategies for assigned categories
Categories may include IT, HR, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Risk, Treasury, etc.
Researching and understanding global and regional market trends
Developing and implementing appropriate sourcing strategies
Developing and executing request for quotations
Negotiating contracts to meet business requirements and ensuring compliance with legal standards
Managing supplier performance in order to meet all quality and delivery requirements
Deliver savings targets in terms of EBIT (i.e., year over year cost reduction) and cash (i.e., payment terms and inventories).
Identify new sources of supply that will result in cost savings and better overall product offering, including suppliers in low-cost countries.
Lead global, cross-functional teams to leverage buying power and best practices.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
SCOPE AND IMPACT
Manage multi-million in Corporate goods and services spend.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related area. MBA preferred.
Minimum 7 - 10 years procurement experience.
Excellent negotiations skills and contract management skills.
Purchasing certification, e.g. CPM or CPSM, preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
SAP experience preferred.
Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong skills in financial management and analysis.
Travel required: Minimal
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
